An animated adventure for all ages, with original music and an all-star cast, ¡°Smallfoot¡± turns the Bigfoot legend upside down when a bright young Yeti (Channing Tatum) finds something he thought didn¡¯t exist¡ªa human. News of this ¡°smallfoot¡± (James Corden) brings him fame and a chance with the girl of his dreams. It also throws the simple Yeti community into an uproar over what else might be out there in the big world beyond their snowy village, in a rollicking story about friendship, courage and the joy of discovery. Thoroughly enjoyed this movie, laughed out loud multiple times, and great music! Almost didn’t buy because of other review, which would have been a HUGE mistake! Already planning to watch this movie every year on the first snow. Thank you for making a fun spirited entertaining movie with awesome animation! 5/5!! This is one of the most intelligently written movies I’ve seen in a long time. There are deep messages in here that may be offensive to those who are too comfortable living in their current accepted reality. For example, some social issues are addressed in this film… Institutional control of reality, oppression and opposition, the impact of fear, difficult choices made by people in positions of high power for the “better good,” and while processing with my kids some of their questions regarding whether or not the Stonekeeper was the bad guy, I realized the movie also demonstrates that knowing what is right from wrong is not always easy. We absolutely love this movie. I really enjoy the songs, they’re catchy and Channing Tatum can sing pretty darn well! The rap segment is so cool and clever. You really can’t go wrong with James Corden. The animation is great. My kids have been begging to watch it everyday. I agree with others that the message in this movie is needed now more than ever. Be true, be honest, look for the good in others, curiously is good and be open minded.
